Meet the Artist Behind the Canvas
I’m Nawaf Abdulrahman, an artist based in Dubai, a city alive with creativity and culture. My journey back to art began in my 40s—a time when I decided to reconnect with my lifelong passion and embrace the transformative power of creativity.
Art has always been my way of understanding and expressing emotions. My work explores themes of love, identity, resilience, and hope, often reflecting the complexity of the human experience. I’m especially drawn to self-portraits, figures, and eyes—the windows to emotions we sometimes hide.
While I started with digital art, I’ve come to see it as more than a medium; it’s a tool that allows me to push boundaries and create something deeply personal yet universal. That said, my journey doesn’t stop there. I’m excited to expand into art installations, canvas work, and any form of art that lets me share my story.
Living in Dubai, surrounded by its vibrant art scene, inspires me daily. This city has become part of my journey, fueling my desire to create pieces that invite connection and reflection.
